This Privacy Policy explains what information FacadeThemes LLC ("FacadeThemes," "we," "us") collects when you use facadethemes.com (the "Service"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. We built this Service to do one thing — turn a photo of a facade into projection-mapping content — and we collect only what that job needs.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your email address (used as your account identity and verified by a code we send you), and optionally a name you enter with a project.
- Project inputs: the facade photograph you upload, and the creative details you provide (theme style, event/occasion, projector model, and an optional property address used to label your project).
- Generated content: the theme concepts, preview images, and asset packages the Service creates for you.
- Purchase records: the amount, date, and a payment-transaction identifier from our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number — payment details go directly to Stripe.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic request logs, used for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.
- Cookies: we use only essential cookies required for the site to function (session and security). We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate the Service: generate your themes and assets, show you previews, deliver your packages, and let you reload your recent work.
- To process payments, prevent fraud and abuse (including free-credit limits), and keep accurate business records.
- To communicate with you about your account and purchases (verification codes, receipts, support).
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photographs or generated content for advertising without your permission.
3. How Your Photo and Inputs Are Shared (AI Processing)
Generating your content requires sending your inputs to the AI providers that power the Service. When you run a generation, your facade photograph and creative inputs are transmitted to one or more of our processing partners — currently including Google Cloud (Vertex AI), OpenAI, Runway, and Fal — solely to produce your requested content. These providers process the data under their own terms and privacy policies. We also use Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and DigitalOcean (hosting). We share with these providers only what each needs to perform its function.
Beyond these service providers, we disclose personal information only if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a business transfer (e.g., a merger or sale), in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.
4. Retention — Most of Your Content Auto-Deletes
- Photos, generated themes, and packages are automatically and permanently deleted 14 days after creation. This is by design — download what you want to keep.
- Account records (your email, verification status, and credit balance) are kept while your account is active so your purchases keep working.
- Purchase and payment records are retained as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal compliance.
- Security logs are retained for a short operational period.
5. Security
All traffic to the Service is encrypted (HTTPS). Secrets and credentials are stored outside of source code, access to production systems is restricted, and payment card data is handled exclusively by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we treat your photographs of your home with the care you'd expect.
6. Your Choices and Rights
- Access or deletion: email info@facadethemes.com and we will provide or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law (e.g., purchase records).
- Faster deletion: your content also deletes itself within 14 days regardless.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR (access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection). We honor verified requests from any customer regardless of location — same email address.
- We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
7. Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. U.S.-Based Service
The Service is operated from the United States, and your information is processed in the U.S. (and by our providers, possibly in other countries). By using the Service you understand your information will be processed in the United States.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Material changes will be reasonably highlighted on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
